     Avnet's global distributor of electronic components products and solutions, element14, and Würth Elektronik have launched a new partnership to support EV solution developers in their project development.the rapid growth of the global electric vehicle market shows that electric mobility is already a general trend. However, various electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) issues exist in the development of electric vehicle applications, which pose serious challenges for developers.

     To this end, element14 and Würth Elektronik have further deepened their collaboration to provide EV product developers with a wider range of electronic components and reliable expertise and value-added services to help them solve design challenges and achieve their design goals.the Würth Elektronik range of innovative products simplifies the handling of high currents during charging and motor control. Its advanced EMC solutions support fast charging and extend battery life, while reducing power waste to meet the future needs of the electric vehicle market.

 Through this partnership, element14 will supply further Würth Elektronik products from stock, including:

• REDCUBE terminal: REDCUBE terminal provides the most reliable high-power contact for double-sided PCB mounting, and is also the first choice for high-current electric vehicle charging stations. The terminal uses an innovative crimp technology for continuous safe and efficient charging power transfer. REDCUBE terminals are suitable for electric vehicle charging wall boxes, electric vehicle charging stations, and light electric vehicles such as electric bicycles.

 • WE-AGDT Series: This series of compact, high-efficiency SMT transformers is optimized for SiC applications and simplifies discrete SiC gate driver designs. WE-AGDT's extremely low inter-winding capacitance contributes to higher Common Mode Transient Immunity (CMTI). Applications include HEV/EV charging stations, EV on-board and off-board chargers, and industrial motor drives.

 • WE-MCI Series: The WE-MCI series of multilayer ceramic SMT inductors feature a multilayer ceramic body and are available in a variety of inductance values from 1 nH to 470 nH. These surface mount devices have extremely small inductance tolerances and are very stable over temperature, making them ideal for automotive applications such as infotainment and keyless entry systems.

 • WE-MPSB Series: This is the world's first ferrite bead that can specify high-current transient characteristics while maintaining high impedance over a wide frequency range, protecting applications and extending application life. It has an ultra-low RDC and the lowest natural heat generation in its class at high current.
