However, the size and weight of the body always affect its overall energy efficiency, so when using MLCCs, it is necessary to consider smaller size and have a higher capacitance value to meet the lightweight requirements. In addition, modern electric vehicles also require a large amount of data transmission and computing, such as: in-vehicle infotainment systems, developing infinite possibilities of intelligent driving to the new technology of the future. Yageo X5R and X6S MLCCs have higher capacitance and smaller size to meet these diverse needs.
In the automotive electronic system, the driver assistance system (ADAS) applies a large number of MLCCs to detect, analyze and calculate the rapidly changing data inside and outside the vehicle in the shortest time. When driving, the navigation system can provide real-time road conditions and route guidance and monitor vehicle conditions at any time to eliminate safety hazards. During high-speed data transmission and computing, the miniaturized high-capacitance MLCC reduces noise and maintains the stability of the operating system. However, the X5R and X6S miniaturized high-capacitance MLCCs used in powerful smartphones, computers or servers also have the same demand in the automotive field, and even more demand and better reliability.
Like other automotive MLCCs, Yageo takes the AEC-Q200 standard as the basic quality requirement for the AC X5R and AC X6S. In order to achieve a higher level of quality, longer life and higher reliability, on the basis of existing production standards, high-quality raw materials, advanced dedicated production lines, strict processing control, full online and automatic inspection of shipments are used. The AC X5R and AC X6S are RoHS compliant and the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) document is now ready.
