XP Power introduces the regulated output housing AC-DC power supply LCW series

     XP Power officially announces the LCW series of regulated output housing AC-DC power supplies, ideal for embedded industrial electronics, technology and devices requiring home certification. The nine new series (LCW15, LCW25, LCW35, LCW50, LCW75, LCW100, LCW150, LCW200 and LCW320) range in power levels from 15W to 320W. All modules comply with EN 55032 Class B conduction and radiation standards for low cost integration and are equipped with integrated connector covers for increased safety after installation.

     The LCW series meets global regulatory requirements with input voltages ranging from 85 to 305VAC and is suitable for rated inputs from 100VAC to 277VAC, with active PFC capabilities in 150W, 200W and 320W modules. Applications include auxiliary power supplies, security devices, lighting controls, smart home or office systems, and ticketing and vending machines.

     Depending on the power level, the LCW series offers rated output from 3.3V to 48V. In order to accommodate non-standard voltage applications, all module products can be adjusted by the user to ±10% without exceeding the rated output voltage.

     The LCW series has an extremely wide operating temperature range from -30°C to +70°C, providing full constant power at +50°C and linear derating to 60% at +70°C. The LCW series uses natural convection cooling for power up to 200W, while the higher power LCW320 series uses an integrated temperature-controlled cooling fan for noise reduction.

     The product's ultra-thin and compact design further simplifies integration with end applications. Standard features of the LCW series include low standby power consumption below 0.3W and output short-circuit protection, as well as overcurrent and overvoltage protection. In addition, the LCW320 series also features power "on" leds. As an option, conformal coating versions are available.

     The product has input to output insulation of 4000VAC, input to ground insulation of 2000VAC, and output to ground insulation of 500VAC. All modules are UL/EN 62368-1 compliant and modules in the LCW35/50/75/100/150 series are also EN 60335 compliant for home automation and applications requiring home or household approval. The product operates at heights of up to 5,000 meters, enhancing its global application.
