XP Power Introduces 100W AC-DC Power Supplies for Industrial, Technical & Medical Equipment Applications, Including BF

     XP Power officially announces the FCB100 series of AC-DC power supplies. The series is certified for Class I and II (no ground connection) operation to medical (including BF), ITE and household standards. Available in Class I and II configurations with Class B conducted and radiated, and support for convection and fan cooling applications, this bare-board product is ideal for medical, home healthcare, test & measurement, broadcast, networking, communications and other industrial equipment ideal choice.

     All modules in the FCB100 series accept an ultra-wide operating input voltage range of 80 to 264VAC, supporting global compatibility and home medical applications, with no-load power consumption less than 0.3W. There are six standard output voltages to choose from: 12V, 15V, 19V, 24V, 36V and 48VDC.

     The FCB100 series can operate at ambient temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. With external forced air cooling, the product can deliver 100W at +50°C, derating linearly to 50W at +70°C. The product can achieve low noise through natural convection cooling, output up to 80/85W at +50°C, derating linearly to 40/45W at +70°C, depending on the model. This bare-board version measures 101.6mm x 50.8mm x 31.8mm (4" x 2" x 1.25") and weighs 160 grams (0.35 lbs). In addition, product standards include overvoltage, overload, short circuit and overtemperature protection.

     This product has input to output isolation of 4000VAC (2 x MOPP), input to ground 1500VAC (1 x MOPP), and output to ground 1500VAC (1 x MOPP), combined with low leakage current, suitable for BF class medical equipment. Safety approvals include IEC/ES/EN 60601-1, IEC/UL/EN 62368-1, IEC 60950-1 and IEC 60335. The product also complies with EN55035 and IEC 60601-1-2 4th edition EMC standards.
