Würth Electronics offers UV-C LEDs for UV disinfection

     Würth Electronics offers UV LEDs with a wavelength of 275nm. UV light at this wavelength sterilizes by destroying the RNA of viruses and bacteria. Therefore, this type of LED is suitable for areas where chemical methods are not suitable. Such LEDs can be used in equipment for germicidal cleaning of various surfaces, as well as for air and water disinfection. The product is small in size, low in driving voltage, short on-off time and durable, making it an excellent choice for standard UV-C lamps. Würth Elektronik offers another UV-C-LED technology solution for the growing demand for disinfection systems.

     "Our LED maximizes output efficiency. To achieve this, it uses high-transparency quartz glass for better light extraction. In addition, the low thermal resistance ceramic substrate reduces chip heating and increases lifetime.
