Wurth Electronics releases free EMI filter design tools

     Wurth Electronics REDEXPERT is an accurate simulation platform based on measurements to help users select the right device. Now, with the embedded EMI filter design module, the platform has easy-to-use anti-EMI filter development capabilities. This capability will continue to be extended, and the current first version allows the design of discrete element low-pass filters for conducting differential interference, such as those required for DC-DC power supplies.

     After filling in the circuit parameters, the REDEXPERT EMI filter design tool calculates the optimal capacitance and inductance values and outputs the appropriate circuit structure. The tool allows users to benefit directly from the expertise of the Wurth EMC consultant who designed the tool.
