Vishay introduces new 193 PUR-SI Solar series snap in power aluminum capacitor

     Vishay Intertechnology announced the launch of Vishay BCcomponents 193 PUR-SI Solar's new series of snap on power aluminum capacitors, with the rated voltage and category voltage increased to 570 V and 475 V respectively. The device is oriented to solar energy applications. Under specific conditions, the maximum working voltage can reach 600 V, and the service life is long. The rated ripple current at+105 ° C and 100 Hz can reach 2.46 A

     Under the voltage of 570 V, the maximum operating temperature of the enhanced 193 PUR-SI Solar series device is+60 ° C, and its service life is 5000 hours (without ripple current). Under the voltage of 475 V, the maximum operating temperature can reach+105 ° C, and its service life is 6000 hours. The open circuit voltage of the device is up to 600 V. The designer can use one capacitor to realize the 600 V string input voltage, and two capacitors to realize the 1200 V string input voltage design, thus reducing the number of electrolytic capacitors required and the total cost of the solar photovoltaic inverter.

     193 PUR-SI Solar series capacitors are made of cylindrical aluminum shell, with pressure relief valve and blue sleeve insulation. There are five package sizes from 35 mm x 30 mm to 35 mm x 60 mm. As a polarized aluminum electrolytic capacitor using non solid electrolyte, the device complies with RoHS standard and is suitable for DC Link buffer and filter applications. In addition to solar PV inverter, typical terminal products include industrial motor controller and power supply.
