The UF3N170400B7S is a high-performance, third-generation silicon carbide (SiC) normally open JFET that provides the ideal solution for applications such as overcurrent protection circuits, DC-AC inverters, switching power supplies, power factor correction modules, motor drives and induction heating.

The UF3N170400B7S is a high-performance third-generation silicon carbide (SiC) normally-on JFET ideal for applications such as overcurrent protection circuits, DC-AC inverters, switching power supplies, power factor correction modules, motor drives, and induction heating solution.

The UF3N170400B7S is an ultra-fast switching temperature independent JFET with ultra-low on-resistance (RDS(ON)) and gate charge (QG), as well as low conduction and switching losses. This voltage-controlled device is extremely efficient, with an RDS(ON) as low as 400mΩ at VGS = 0V, and low inherent capacitance, making it ideal for current protection circuits that do not require active control or cascode operation.

The UF3N170400B7S is RoHS compliant, packaged in an industry standard D2PAK-7L, halogen free and lead free, and can operate over a temperature range of 55°C to 175°C.
