Turck introduces highly dynamic inclination sensor for high-speed control loops

     In the new generation of inclination sensors, Turck has combined accelerometer technology (MEMS) and gyroscope technology, which can eliminate shock and vibration effects more effectively than conventional signal filters. As a result, the B1NF and B2NF single-axis and dual-axis inclination sensors achieve unprecedented dynamic measurement performance and can even be used in high-speed control loops on moving or vibrating machinery.

    IO-Link provides fast output signals, these extremely robust IP68/69K sensors can output signals via the faster digital interface version IO-Link COM3. IO-Link also enables the device to be flexibly adapted to application requirements, such as zero point settings. In addition, sensors can provide additional information such as runtime, ambient temperature, and more for condition monitoring applications.

    The LED level indication function simplifies debugging, and the "level indication function" simplifies equipment installation. It indicates the horizontal position of the sensor by blinking the LED. Thus, the correct and reliable installation of the sensor can be ensured without any accessories before the complete setup on the IO-Link master. The translucent plastic cover used on the LED eliminates the housing issues caused by the LED lens.

    These devices can also be used in positioning and balancing applications, as well as adjusting arm monitoring applications in the textile, printing and packaging industries. At present, Turck has launched 4 models: B1NF single-axis sensor and B2NF dual-axis sensor for dynamic applications, and B1N and B2N for static applications.
