Toshiba launches its first 200V transistor output automotive optocoupler TLX9188

     Toshiba Electronic Components & Storage Corporation announced the launch of a high-voltage transistor output automotive optocoupler, the "TLX9188", for signal isolation and communication in automotive equipment including electric vehicles. 

     The LX9188's high-voltage phototransistor provides a collector-emitter rated voltage of 200V, which is 2.5 times higher than Toshiba's current TLX9185A and is Toshiba's first product to achieve this level [1]. By specifying the maximum value of the switching characteristics (on-time, off-time), this new optocoupler can be used as a unidirectional switch. In addition, it can also be used in analog signal feedback circuits for 100V to 200V devices, helping to reduce application circuit costs.
