Texas Instruments offers its ISO7740 high-speed, low-power, powerful EMC, four-channel digital isolator

     Texas Instruments' ISO774x equipment is a high-performance four channel digital isolator, with 5000 V (RMS) (DW package) and 2500 V (RMS) (DBQ package) isolation levels, complying with UL 1577. According to VDE, CSA, TUV and CQC standards, this series of equipment has a higher insulation level.

     The ISO774x device provides high electromagnetic immunity and low emissions under low power consumption, while isolating CMOS or LVCMOS digital I/O. Each isolated channel has a logic input and output buffer separated by a silicon dioxide (SiO (2)) insulating barrier. The device has an enable pin, which can be used to drive applications with high impedance and reduce power consumption.

     The ISO7740 device has all four channels in the same direction, the ISO7741 device has three forward channels and one reverse channel, and the ISO7742 device has two forward channels and two reverse channels. If the input power or signal is lost, the default output of the device without suffix F is high, and the default output of the device with suffix F is low.

     Used together with isolated power supply, the device helps prevent noise current on data bus or other circuits from entering the local ground, interfering with or damaging sensitive circuits. Through innovative chip design and layout technology, the electromagnetic compatibility of ISO774x devices has been significantly enhanced to reduce system level ESD, EFT, surge and emission compliance. ISO774x devices can be packaged in 16 pin SOIC and QSOP.
