TMAG5231 Low Voltage Low Noise Hall Effect Switch

When the applied magnetic flux density exceeds the operating point (BOP) threshold, the device outputs a low voltage. The output remains low until the flux density falls below the release point (BRP), then the device outputs a high voltage.

     The omnipolar magnetic response allows the output to be sensitive to north and south magnetic fields. The TMAG5231 can operate with very low current consumption. To achieve a current consumption of 2 μA, the device switches circuits internally at 20 Hz. The TMAG5231 is available in an industry standard SOT-23 package and pinout. The device operates over a VCC range of 1.65 V to 5.5 V and a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
