TDK launches ultra-compact X2 capacitors

     The TDK Group presents the new EPCOS ultra-compact X2 capacitors for noise suppression applications, rated at 275 V AC and in the capacitance range from 33 nF to 1 µF. And each model has different lead pitches of 10 mm (B32921X* / Y*), 15 mm (B32922X* / Y*) and 22.5 mm (B32923X* / Y*), depending on the capacitance.

     A highlight of the new components is the ultra-compact size, ranging from 4.0 × 9.0 × 13.0 mm (33 nF) to 10.5 × 16.5 × 26.5 mm (1 µF), again depending on capacitance. The capacitors are certified to UL, EN and IEC 60384-14:2013 standards, and feature a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating for the case and potting material, and a maximum operating temperature of 110 °C. With its ultra-compact size, this new series of RoHS-compliant capacitors is suitable for a wide range of indoor appliances and consumer electronics.
