
TDK introduces three SmartSound series MEMS microphones: T5919, T3903 and T4086 for mobile, iot and other consumer electronics devices. These high-performance MEMS microphones push the boundaries of traditional microphone acoustic performance to deliver an advanced feature set with low power consumption in a small package. TDK's SmartSound series microphones are designed for a wide range of applications in a variety of dynamic environments. These high-AOP, high-SNR, and wide dynamic range MEMS microphones are ideal for applications ranging from quiet to noisy, such as far-field speech pickup for smart speakers.
The T5919 is a multi-mode, low-noise digital output MEMS microphone in a 3.5mm x 2.65mm x 0.98mm compact bottom-opening package. The particulate entry filter (PIF) is integrated into the MEMS microphone package to provide protection against particulate matter and moisture. The T5919 includes a variety of operating modes: high quality operating mode, low power consumption (Always On) mode, sleep mode. The T5919 has a high signal-to-noise ratio in all operating modes. MEMS microphones maintain 135 dB sound pressure level AOP in high quality operating mode and 120 dB sound pressure level AOP in low power mode.
The T3903 is an ultra-low-power, wide-dynamic range PDM digital MEMS microphone that supports "Always On" applications in smartphones, tablets, remote controls, smart TVS, Bluetooth headsets and digital cameras. The T3903 is available in a 3.5mm × 2.65mm × 0.98mm bottom-hole package with multiple operating modes, sensitivity of -37 dBFS, signal-to-noise ratio of 66 dBA and AOP of 133dB.
The T4086 is an analog output MEMS microphone designed to achieve high SNR and AOP with low power consumption in a 2.75mm x 1.85mm x 0.9mm bottom-hole package that supports applications/devices with very limited space.
