Measuring ±14 g of in-plane linear acceleration, the AXO315 is accurate, reliable, and rugged enough to easily handle the most challenging conditions and withstand those commonly found in industrial, land, rail, naval, oil and gas, and construction applications harsh temperature and vibration conditions. It has excellent vibration suppression, ensuring excellent one-year compound bias repeatability (1 mg) and compound scale factor over a temperature range of -55 °C to +105 °C and 4 g vibration Repeatability (600 ppm). The enhanced performance of the Allan variance feature, excellent 4 µg bias stability, a random walk at a rate of 0.006 m/s/√h, and an ultra-low noise density of 15 µg/√Hz all contribute to the high performance of this accelerometer. resolution and low error characteristics.
With its many excellent features, this accelerometer can significantly reduce size, weight and material cost in many applications including servo and dynamic inclinometers in industrial motion control units, inertial measurement units (IMUs), inertial navigation systems for GNSS (INS) aided positioning, and applications such as the navigation of manned and unmanned ground handling vehicles and trains.
The AXO315 adopts a force-balanced structure design, is equipped with a 24-channel digital SPI interface, and is packaged in an SMD package. Its performance is not inferior to the existing analog signal quartz accelerometers and mechanical inclinometers, but it is smaller in size, lighter in weight and more affordable. . It outperforms all commercial MEMS sensor elements and is easier to integrate than analog-signal sensors.
This accelerometer complements the current Tronics GYPRO line of digital high-performance gyroscopes for high-performance inertial measurement unit (IMU) and inertial navigation system (INS) applications. Housed in a hermetically sealed SMD J-lead ceramic package (12 x 12 x 5 mm) and weighing only 1.4 g, it is extremely lightweight, reducing PCB assembly costs and ensuring reliability, even under sudden temperature changes. No exception.
The AXO315 accelerometer is manufactured, tested and calibrated at the Tronics Microsystems facility in Grenoble, France. The sensor can also be evaluated with an Arduino-based evaluation kit designed for developers to improve test functions such as output reading and recording, recalibration, and digital self-test.
