     Silicon Labs EFR32FG23 Flex Gecko Wireless System-on-chip (SoC). The EFR32FG23 Sub-GHz wireless solution combines long-range RF and energy saving features with PSA Level 3 safety certification to meet the market demand for battery-powered, safe, high-performance iot products.


     The Silicon Labs EFR32FG23 SoC improves transmission range and energy efficiency for multi-protocol Sub-GHz connections and is suitable for a variety of industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), smart cities, and building and home automation applications. These SOCs integrate power amplifiers to achieve transmission ranges of more than one mile, while providing excellent receive sensitivity and fast wake up functionality, as well as long battery life of more than 10 years. This single-chip multi-core solution combines optimized ultra-low transmit and receive radio power (TX current 13.2 mA at 10 dBm 868 MHz, RX current 3.7 mA at 868 MHz) with superior RF performance (output power up to +20 dBm, RX sensitivity is -125.3 dBm at 868 MHz and 2.4 kbps GFSK), which is ideal for battery-powered LAN nodes, wireless sensors, and networking devices in remote areas.

 

     EFR32FG23 SoC has accompanying development tools, including Silicon Labs FG23 868MHz-915MHz +14dBm development kit. This compact, all-purpose development platform suite enables rapid development and prototyping of Sub-GHz loT products while supporting FG23's on-board segmented LCD controller, as well as other key features such as Low Energy sensor interface (LESENSE) and pulse counter.
