Sensirion launches two fourth-generation ultra-high-precision temperature and humidity sensor products

     Sensirion has released two new versions of its fourth generation digital temperature and humidity sensor: SHT41 and SHT45, offering further improved humidity and temperature accuracy. Like all previous Sensirion temperature and humidity sensors recognized in the industry, SHT41 and SHT45 are also extremely cost-effective in the market. They are packaged in tape and reel and are compatible with standard SMD assembly processes, making them ideal for high volume applications

     SHT41 and SHT45 are based on the newly upgraded CMOSens chip, which has lower power consumption and higher precision. The extended supply voltage range from 1.08 V to 3.6 V is ideal for mobile and battery powered applications. The miniature size and rugged DFN package allow easy integration into a variety of challenging designs while meeting the stringent reliability requirements specified by JEDEC JESD47.

     The typical accuracy and maximum accuracy of the high-precision models SHT41 and SHT45 are further optimized, down to ΔRH = ±1% RH and ΔT = ± 0.1 °C, which can meet the stringent requirements of applications in various industries. In 2022, matching protective shields will be launched to complete the product portfolio to meet more severe technical challenges. The encapsulated filter ensures that the exposed design meets IP67 requirements, while the protective cover ensures that the conformal paint coating is safe and reliable.
