Sensirion Introduces Fourth Generation High Accuracy Advanced Digital Temperature Sensor STS4x Series

     Sensirion introduces the fourth generation of the STS4x series of high precision advanced digital temperature sensors. This fully digital temperature sensor has a very high cost performance and has a variety of accuracy specifications to choose from, among which the STS40 is the current main model.

     Based on Sensirion CMOSens® technology, the STS4x integrates various high-tech sensor components, can be mass-produced, has a high signal-to-noise ratio, a high level of craftsmanship, and has been tested for long-term reliability and stability. Typical accuracy ±0.2℃
     The STS4x temperature sensor family features enhanced signal processing, three different I2C addresses, and communication speeds up to 1 MHz. The dual-planar leadless (DFN) package occupies only 1.5 × 1.5 mm2 while maintaining a height of 0.5 mm, allowing easy integration of the STS4x series into different applications. In addition, a wide supply voltage range of 1.08 to 3.6 V and typical average power consumption as low as 0.4 µA per second measurement enable battery-driven designs.
