     Sensata-Cynergy3's industrial wireless transmitters are a cost-effective way to increase the connectivity of industrial equipment for increased productivity and safety. Sensata Technologies' wide range of wireless devices deliver the accuracy, reliability and durability of industry-leading wired devices. By connecting these sensors to wireless communication devices, it is possible to learn about machines and operating processes from sensor data, which can also be securely transmitted to automated systems or the cloud. Devices such as gateways and receivers often interact with transmitters in remote or inaccessible locations, providing a cost-effective solution by minimizing installation and commissioning time.

     The flexible design of the IW series wireless transmitters works with a wide range of industrial wireless receivers, allowing configurable solutions to meet specific application requirements, supporting stand-alone circuits, local PC or PLC control, and cellular gateway options. These units are compact (most body dimensions are 79 mm x 52 mm) and utilize the proprietary 2.4 GHz ISM band to reliably deliver clear data transmission in all environments, even in the presence of obstacles. Installation on new and existing systems is easy, either by plug-and-play configuration or by using the included free configuration software.

     An internal lithium thionyl chloride battery ensures long battery life, up to 5 years when configured at a 10-second update rate. Also helps to save power, the data from the transmitter can be controlled to meet specific application requirements, from 1 second to 5 minutes to maintain the battery life of the device. Data security from sensor transmitter to receiver (northbound) is supported via AES-128 encryption.
