      STMicroelectronics' latest intelligent drive high-side switches IPS2050H and IPS2050H-32 can set two current limit values, which are suitable for capacitive loads with large starting current. The two new dual-channel switches have an input voltage range of 8V to 60V and a maximum input pin withstand voltage of 65V, ensuring high design flexibility and operational reliability in industrial applications. The on-resistance Rds(on) of the internally integrated power MOSFET transistor is small, resulting in high energy efficiency and low thermal dissipation power. In addition, the MOSFET single-pulse avalanche energy is greater than 1J at 2A, which can improve the reliability of the switch when driving inductive loads. The switch also integrates an active clamp circuit for fast demagnetization.
