STMicroelectronics' STEVAL-IOD04KT1 kit is a smart industrial sensor node that can be connected to a host IO-Link hub or a suitable PLC interface. It offers powerful functionality for a variety of IO-Link based applications in an ultra-compact design.
The L6364W dual-channel transceiver enables highly integrated monitoring solutions such as vibration and compensation monitoring of robotic arms via the ISM330DHCX inertial module, and magnetic field detection along auxiliary channels via the IIS2MDC. The kit also features smart and easy-to-configure industrial sensors with less wiring, advanced diagnostics and easier device replacement.
The onboard STM32G071EB microcontroller runs the IO-Link demo stack v.1.1 and code for managing the L6364W transceiver and MEMS industrial sensor. The kit comes with a motherboard, STLINK-V3MINI programmer and debugger tools, and M8 to M12 standard industrial connector adapters.
