ST Adds a Space-Saving, Low Offset 20MHz High-Performance 5V Op Amp Family

     The STMicroelectronics TSV772 dual operational amplifier (op amp) combines high precision with low power consumption and is available in a small 2.0mm x 2.0mm DFN8 package. TSV772 belongs to STMicroelectronics high-performance 5V op amp series, with rail-to-rail input and rail-to-rail output, gain bandwidth product (GBW) 20MHz, unity gain stability, slew rate 13V/µs, input noise density 7nV/√Hz, With 4kV ESD protection capability (HBM), it is a powerful all-rounder.the new 20MHz TSV772 dual op amp is now in volume production in SO-8, MiniSO-8 and DFN8 packages

     With a maximum input offset voltage of 200µV (25°C), it can accurately measure low amplitude input signals. The inherent high accuracy also eliminates the need for expensive external precision resistors and avoids adjusting or calibrating circuits on the production line. The output capacitance of the TSV772 is rated at 47pF, making it easy to use as an input buffer for A/D converters.

     The TSV772 has a supply voltage as low as 2.0V and can be connected to the power rails of low-power microcontrollers, simplifying system power design. A small minimum supply voltage value has the added benefit of extending the life of the device in applications where the power supply is a deeply discharged battery.

     TSV772 is suitable for product instruments such as smoke detectors. Using the speed and power efficiency of this op amp, devices can conserve battery power and extend the life of smart features and wireless connections.
