Superior Sensor's SP family of differential pressure sensors for spirometry applications combines advanced piezoresistive sensing elements with integrated amplification, ADC, DSP, and processor intelligence to greatly simplify customer integration. SP series provides high precision digital output using floating-point technology.      SP Series devices include a proprietary Z-Track™ feature that virtually eliminates zero point errors. Start-up time is also a consideration, and with the Z-Track, warm-up time is greatly reduced, making the SP Series an excellent choice for time-critical fixed facility applications.

     These spirometry devices work flawlessly in crowded RF environments with numerous wireless transmitters. This RF immunity requirement drives the need for special design of product packaging. This is to minimize the effect of stray RF signals on sensor module performance. The SP Series utilizes proprietary design techniques to enhance EMI immunity and reduce the effects of close-proximity EMI producing devices such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® and other cellular communication protocol devices.
