Rutronik provides Yageo's self-developed ultra-small metal current sensing resistor PA0100

     Yageo has launched the PA0100 ultra-small metal current sensing resistor, providing a product solution specially designed to meet the challenges of continuous miniaturization, in order to be close to customer needs. Measuring only 0.4x0.2mm, the 01005 resistor is the smallest metal current sensing resistor available today. This product complements the PA series, which is available in 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, 1206 and 2010 packages in different sizes.

     In order to develop the PA0100, Yageo first developed and applied a variety of semiconductor manufacturing processes to produce a current sensor product with the smallest size and a resistance value of only 10-20mΩ.

     At the same time, the PA0100 has excellent characteristics such as high accuracy (1%), low temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR = 300ppm/°C), and low thermal EMF. The PA0100 jumper is used as a metal jumper with a maximum current rating of 8A.

     The PA0100 is mainly used in size-critical mobile devices such as smartphones, but is also suitable for battery modules or radio frequency transceiver modules (RF/PA modules).
