Renesas Electronics has launched more than 35 successful product portfolios containing Dialog products

Renesas Electronics announced the formal merger with Dialog Semiconductor Plc (Dialog), launching a new and successful portfolio of 39 products to benefit customers, demonstrating Renesas and Dialog's complementary and compatible product lineup across embedded processing, analog, power and connectivity.

Quickly connect to the Internet of Things

Renesas' recently launched IoT system design platform, Quick Connect IoT System, significantly simplifies the prototyping of iot systems and helps users significantly reduce time to market. The multi-board design platform eliminates compatibility issues that are common in hardware and software, enabling designers to quickly and easily connect various sensors to MCU development boards. Combined with Dialog's ultra-low-power Bluetooth® Low Energy (LE) (DA14531) and Wi-Fi (DA16200) SoCs, the new Pmod™ 6A board-to-board connector, and the embedded Renesas software package Quick Connect's glue-on code enables Renesas sensors and MCUS to seamlessly transfer to mobile applications or the cloud.

100W adapter with power output and wireless charger

Renesas 100W PD adapter is A versatile PD adapter that supports 65W maximum PD output, BC1.2 fast charge, Qi 15W wireless charging, and two 5V2.1A USB A ports. Now includes the latest Dialog high power density AC/DC chipset (primary side digital flyback controller/secondary side interface IC) with advanced zero voltage switches as well as USB PD controllers, MOSFETs, PFC and wireless charging devices from Renesas Electronics.

Smart asset tracking tags

Smart Tracking Tag is an ultra-thin, credit card sized asset tracking solution that monitors and tracks environmental data via Bluetooth LE. It combines a low-power DA14531 Bluetooth LE 5.1 SoC with Renesas' high-performance humidity and temperature sensors for an exceptionally long battery life, and data logging is stored via Dialog's on-board serial flash memory. It uses a disposable, printable 25mAh battery to provide a shelf life of 2-3 months and a useful life of approximately 30 days.

In addition, Renesas has launched a successful portfolio of nine products designed specifically for automotive customers, combining Dialog simulation products with a broad range of Renesas solutions.

Automotive electronics successful product portfolio

A new solution for in-vehicle infotainment systems (IVI) features Dialog PMIC and CMIC with Renesas R-Car SOCs, step-down regulators and timing ics. Another successful portfolio combines Dialog LED backlights and haptic drivers with Renesas LCD PMIC to build in-vehicle display systems. More solutions including Dialog Bluetooth LE IC wireless battery management system (BMS) and Renesas battery management ics, MCUS and other products are under development.
