This time, combining these technical advantages, an evaluation board that can evaluate ultra-efficient battery management solutions for small and thin IoT devices has been developed and sold.
The "REFLVBMS001-EVK-001" evaluation board is equipped with a power supply IC and reset IC using ROHM's ultra-low quiescent current technology "Nano Energy™", a charge control IC supporting new low-voltage secondary batteries, and a low-profile Capacity lithium-ion secondary battery "EnerCera®". The circuit is very suitable for small IoT devices. Among them, the 180nA ultra-low quiescent current power supply IC can reduce the power consumption of the power supply part in the application to a greater extent. At the same time, the charging control IC supporting a wider charging voltage range can be used for charging, monitoring and discharge control. Using this evaluation board, you can easily evaluate an ultra-thin and ultra-efficient battery management solution that achieves a thickness of only 0.60mm or less for all mounted components including thin secondary batteries.
