RECOM launches AC/DC power supply with 600W peak power for industrial, domestic and medical applications

     RECOM announces the launch of the RACM600-L open frame AC/DC power supply, rated at 400/450W (115/230VAC) under convection cooling, with a peak power of 600W, and continuous output if forced air cooling is used. This product has universal 80-275VAC input voltage and 24V single output, +/-20% adjustable, rated current is 25A, and also provides 5V/0.5A backup output.

     The RACM600-L is designed for reliable and cost-effective operation in high-availability fields such as medical and process control, using high-spec components and conservative design margins. The power supply has 2 x MOPP medical safety certification (IEC/EN/CSA/ANSI/AAMI-ES 60601-1), the working altitude is up to 3000M, and the leakage current is compliant with BF application. The product has also passed the IEC 62368-1 certification for IT/multimedia/industrial applications, and the reinforced isolation can meet the requirements of working at an altitude of 5000M. Without external components, the EMC curve 'B' complies with EN 55032 with good margins. Surge and burst immunity is level 4.

     The products are up to 93% efficient and can be paralleled for redundancy or increased output through internal OR-ing diodes and active current sharing. PMBusTM interface with on/off control, power good signal, remote feedback, remote control and monitoring, and full protection against overcurrent, overtemperature, overvoltage and short circuit.

     The RACM600-L features an open-frame, rugged U-shaped format measuring only 197 mm x 102mm x 41mm (1U), including fasteners for chassis mounting. The operating temperature range is -20°C to +70°C (derating).
