RECOM Introduces Surface Mount DC/DC Converter with 2W Output at High Temperature

     RECOM has added the RSH2 series to its DC/DC converter family, a fully regulated, low noise, isolated 2W surface mount DC/DC converter. The series features nominal inputs of 3.3V (2.8-5.5V), 5V/9V (4.5-13.2V), 12V (9-18V) and 24V (18-36V) for use in battery or bus powered systems. The outputs are 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V and 24V. These modules feature short-circuit and overcurrent protection and require only a simple external filter to meet the input noise requirements of EN 55032 class A or B. The modules have no minimum load requirements, and on/off control is standard.

     The RSH2 series operates without derating over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, making it ideal for demanding industrial, test and measurement, and transportation applications. The module has an isolation rating of 2kVDC/60s (3kVDC/60s is optional), has UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 certification and is RoHS-3 compliant. The RSH2 series is housed in a compact, lightweight DIP14 SMD housing and is available in tube or tape and reel packaging. Modules can be IR bake or vapor phase reflow soldered using industry standard JEDEC.
