Qualcomm Introduces New Snapdragon Digital Chassis Connected Vehicle Technology to Help Accelerate the Future of the Automotive Industry

      In response to growing demand for premium driving experiences and in-vehicle connectivity services, Qualcomm Technologies today introduced new enhancements to its rapidly expanding portfolio of automotive technologies. To further enhance the Snapdragon Digital Chassis Connected Vehicle Platform, Qualcomm Technologies has introduced a new "connection-as-a-service" feature for Snapdragon vehicle-to-cloud services, supporting fast-available connectivity, integrated analytics, and cloud-facing capabilities through new technical collaborations. A developer environment with terminals designed to provide new technical features, content and services to the global market. As an integral part of the Snapdragon Digital Chassis, the Snapdragon® Automotive Intelligent Connectivity Platform and the Snapdragon Vehicle-to-Cloud Service will help create a more secure, customizable, immersive and sustainable intelligent connected vehicle.

     Qualcomm Technologies also highlighted today the Snapdragon In-Vehicle Connected Application Framework, an integrated application framework for developing in-vehicle and cloud-connected applications and services. At the same time, a new Wi-Fi 6E automotive chipset was launched, designed to bring higher bandwidth to Wi-Fi applications and support content transmission at unparalleled speeds.
