Qorvo Introduces Family of High Efficiency Power Amplifiers for 5G Small Cell Networks

     Qorvo, a leading provider of RF solutions for mobile applications, infrastructure and aerospace and defense applications, introduces a family of high-efficiency power amplifiers designed for 5G small cell infrastructure applications. These new PAs help small cell OEMs deploy 5G networks and services in indoor and outdoor areas in dense urban environments.

     Qorvo's new line of high-efficiency power amplifiers provides customers with high Power Added Efficiency (PAE), in most cases over 30%, and covers the major sub-7 GHz 3GPP frequency bands. These devices are designed to handle true 5G New Radio (NR) signal bandwidths up to 200 MHz with Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) in a 50 × 6 × 8 matching 5 mm x 5 mm SMT small form factor package. Qorvo's extensive global manufacturing capabilities and mass production support ongoing global 5G network deployments.
