Prysmian Sirocco HD cable series expands with up to 576 fibers

     Using Prysmian's BendBright-A2 200µm single-mode (ITU-T G.657.D, G.657.A2) bend-insensitive fiber, Sirocco HD micro-conduit cables provide a future-proofing system for evolving systems solution.

      Sirocco HD series cables now offer 96-576 fibers, meeting international standards for optical and mechanical properties, and also benefit from the use of Prysmian's PicoTube technology, making them 20% smaller than previously available micro-duct cables. This makes it possible to install more fiber in congested duct spaces and allows the use of smaller ducts in new installations, reducing installation costs and using less raw material. This provides benefits for the overall cost and environmental footprint of network deployment.
