Power Integrations InnoSwitch3-TN Devices

     Power Integrations' InnoSwitch3-TN devices are ideal for isolated and non-isolated designs. They offer excellent standby power and no-load power consumption of less than 5 mW, and can be used on a single 5 V output power supply with two positive output rails, or both positive and negative rails. Excellent load and cross regulation performance means the InnoSwitch3-TN IC can eliminate the post-regulator typically required in multi-output designs in electrical applications.

     Like all InnoSwitch3 family devices, the InnoSwitch3-TN IC does not require optocouplers because the 725 V primary MOSFET, primary and secondary flyback controllers are coupled using Power Integrations' proprietary FluxLink™ high-speed communication channel. Safety-rated FluxLink communication ensures reliable synchronous rectification and accurate output constant voltage and current. Comprehensive safety features include output overcurrent and overtemperature protection. The small MINSOP package and few external components required for a complete PSU design make the InnoSwitch3-TN ideal for compact implementations.
