
ON Semiconductor, a pioneer of energy efficient innovation, expands its broad imaging portfolio with the introduction of a new 13-megapixel (MP) image sensor, the AR1335. Based on advanced 1.1 micron (μm) pixel technology, the AR1335 sets a new benchmark for sensitivity, quantum efficiency (QE) and linear potential well capacity. Designed for smartphone camera applications, this image sensor delivers an image quality experience close to digital cameras, while also optimizing power consumption and board space for mobile devices.
ON Semiconductor has developed innovative 1.1μm pixel technology for high-performance smartphone sensors with advanced pixel and color Filter Array (CFA) processing that improves sensitivity by nearly 20% over its predecessor. The world-class sensitivity captures more light, resulting in a significant improvement in image quality, especially at low light levels.
The AR1335 delivers an excellent imaging experience for smartphone users. Best-in-class sensitivity, QE and linear potential well capacity allow customers to experience realistic low-light imaging. Ultra HD 13 MP resolution supports high quality zoom and sharp restoration of scene details. Professional video quality is available in 4K Ultra HD (UHD) mode, cinema mode at 30 frames per second, or 1080P HD mode at 60 frames per second. The extremely high 32° Main Light Angle (CRA) supports low vertical height applications.
