Nichicon launches ultra-compact long-life 105°C 5000 hours guaranteed substrate self-supporting aluminum electrolytic capacitors

     In order to meet the long-life requirements of equipment in the field of environment and renewable energy, Nichicon Co., Ltd. has launched the "LGC series" substrate self-supporting aluminum electrolytic capacitors with ultra-small long-life 105°C 5000 hours guarantee, realizing the industry's smallest product size.

     In recent years, the demand for miniaturization and space saving of power supplies in the field of server power supplies and switching power supplies has increased, and with the promotion of circuit integration, the internal space has been reduced, and the internal temperature of the power supply has also tended to rise. Against this background, large aluminum electrolytic capacitors used in power supply smoothing circuits are also required to achieve miniaturization and high reliability (long life), and in order to meet these needs, Nichicon has introduced the "LGX series" (105 ℃ 5000 hours guarantee) compared to the industry's smallest "LGC series" new products that have achieved substantial miniaturization (volume ratio reduction of up to 33%).

     The "LGC Series" utilizes the newly developed large-capacity electrode foil, electrolyte solution and electrolytic paper with excellent durability, and thus realizes the industry's smallest product size. As a result, compared with the existing "LGX series", the volume ratio is reduced by up to 33%, and miniaturization is realized, which is very suitable for space-saving circuit design.
