Nexperia NCA9555PW 16-bit I2C and SMBus I/O expander

The Nexperia NCA9555PW 16-bit I2C and SMBus I/O expander is an efficient solution that extends the general-purpose input/Output (GPIO) functionality of I2C bus /SMBus applications. The Nexperia NCA9555PW device has a wide operating voltage range of 1.65V to 5.5V.

The NCA9555 is designed to meet the needs of a variety of devices, including interrupt and pull-up resistors. These devices include ACPI power switches, sensors, buttons, leds and fan control systems. The NCA9555 has 8-bit input, output, configuration, and polarity reversal registers, and all I/OS default to input when powered on. The device's flexible configuration options allow each IO to be set as input or output, making it ideal for adding additional IO with minimal interconnection.
