Mouser Introduces Laird Antennas' Trigger Series Bottom-Mounted Telematics Antennas

     Mouser Electronics, a distributor of electronic components focused on introducing new products and offering extensive inventory, is now offering Laird Antennas' Trigger series of bottom mount antennas. These innovative five-port VPJ and four-port VQJ Trigger devices are IP67 rated multi-port/multi-band long-range communication antennas that provide excellent 3G/4G/5G/ISM/CBRS, Wi-Fi and GNSS capabilities for transportation, public safety, fleet operations, asset tracking, and in-vehicle and workshop communications.

      Laird Antennas VxJ Trigger antennas, available from Mouser, feature a unique L-shaped construction and biaxial conductive VHB tape for quick and safe installation in inconvenient locations. The antenna can be discreetly mounted on the side or over bulky non-metallic objects such as ventilation ducts without drilling holes. This allows them to be mounted closer to the vehicle's router or gateway, usually on the dashboard, under the seat or in the trunk.

      Equipped with both vertical and horizontal V-Pol/H-Pol cellular radiating elements, each Trigger antenna extends signal coverage while delivering significant signal performance improvements and more consistent connection and data throughput than conventional antennas. With excellent performance and excellent vehicle perimeter coverage, Trigger series antennas can be used in urban environments with dense vehicles, as well as in remote areas where signal may be weak or obstructed.
