Molex 5G mmWave RF Flexible Flex Cable-to-Board Connectors Now Available from Mouser

     Mouser Electronics stocks Molex's 5G15 series of 5G mmWave RF flexible cable-to-board connectors. Designed for advanced 5G applications requiring flexible design, rugged mating and ultra-small PCB space, the 5G15 series connectors provide engineers with outstanding versatility and usability, as well as signal integrity up to 15 GHz.

     The Molex 5G15 series of 5G mmWave RF flexible cable-to-board connectors available from Mouser are available in two configurations: a dual RF signal line with a 1A power cord, and four RF signal lines without power. Both options feature a row-to-row isolated receptacle center shield design that provides good signal integrity, as well as excellent EMI shield isolation. Additional features include a wide 0.35 mm alignment pitch for easy mating, an overmolded design to prevent pin extraction, and an armor that protects the connector from damage during mating and can be used as a power or ground pin Split pins.

     The 5G15 series connectors have a maximum current of 2A (up to 1A per pin) and support 5G mmWave, Sub 6 GHz, 4G/LTE or any high speed application requiring digital RF connectivity up to 15 GHz. This family of connectors can also combine RF and other non-RF connectivity functions in one connector to save PCB space and cost, or replace multiple coaxial cables by combining them into a single board-to-board connector.
