Mitsubishi Electric starts to provide samples of T-series IGBT modules in 2kV industrial LV100 package

     In recent years, power semiconductors capable of efficiently converting electric power have been attracting attention as key devices for the realization of a low-carbon society, and the demand for them has been increasing and diversifying. Especially for power systems driven by renewable energy, the operating voltage of the system is constantly increasing due to the need for higher power conversion efficiency.      In order to meet these needs, Mitsubishi Electric has launched a new product - 2kV industrial LV100 package T series IGBT*2 module, and will start to provide its samples in May this year. This product contributes to miniaturization and low energy consumption of power converters for renewable energy applications.

     The newly released 2kV industrial LV100 package T series IGBT module is a 2kV withstand voltage product designed for DC1500V power converters. It can be mainly used in large-capacity systems ranging from hundreds of kilowatts to several megawatts to meet the power supply needs of renewable energy. . This product is designed to simplify the design of DC1500V power converters for customers by using 2kV withstand voltage components; in addition, the seventh-generation IGBT and RFC diode*3 are mounted in the IGBT module, which is a small-scale power converter for renewable energy power sources. Contribution to energy reduction and low energy consumption. In addition, it uses an external package that facilitates parallel design and is suitable for high-capacity industrial-grade LV100, which helps simplify high-capacity system design.
