Minimal, high efficiency, low noise, single chip synchronous step-down DC/DC converter

Analog Devices LTC3306 synchronous step-down voltage regulator is a very small, high efficiency, low noise, monolithic synchronous step-down DC/DC converter that can provide 1.75A (maximum) average output current through 2.25V to 5.5V input power supply. Adopt 6-pin 1.6mm × 1 mm, 0.5 mm spacing WLCSP package.

These regulators adopt a compact solution size with constant frequency, peak current mode control (2MHz switching frequency) and the shortest turn-on time (22ns) to achieve fast transient response and accurate voltage stabilization. The available modes include forced continuous mode to achieve lower noise or low ripple Burst Mode operation, thus achieving higher efficiency under light load.

LTC3306 can provide programmable output of external resistor or fixed output voltage of 500mV to 3.65V (50mV increment) to realize 100% duty cycle operation with extremely low differential pressure. Other features include high-precision PGOOD output
Precision enable threshold, output overvoltage protection, thermal shutdown and output short-circuit protection.
