Microchip's IS1870 BLE IC is designed to connect application-enabled accessories and the Internet of Things (IoT) via BLE. They are available for 2.4 GHz ISM band radios and are certified to the Bluetooth Core Specification Version 5.0.
Microchip's IS1870 enables users to complete designs faster and more efficiently. It combines transceiver and baseband functions to reduce external components. In addition, free Bluetooth stack firmware is available, enabling the product to quickly become an embedded BLE solution. For portable and wearable applications, the product's optimized power design minimizes current consumption, extending battery life and minimizing package size.
