Maxim's MAX30207 is a low-power and high-precision digital temperature sensor with an accuracy of ±0.1°C from +30°C to +50°C and ±0.3°C from -0°C to +70°C. It offers 16-bit resolution (0.005°C). The 2 mm x 2 mm x 0.75 mm package design has extremely low thermal mass.

     Maxim's MAX30207 is a low-power, high-accuracy digital temperature sensor with ±0.1°C accuracy from +30°C to +50°C and ±0.3°C accuracy from -0°C to +70°C. It offers 16-bit resolution (0.005°C).

     The 2 mm x 2 mm x 0.75 mm package is designed with extremely low thermal mass. It can be mounted on a flexible PCB with only two conductive traces, which minimizes heat transfer from the system PCB, enabling accurate temperature measurement.

     Data is transferred serially via the 1-Wire protocol, requiring only one data wire and a ground reference for communication. The device is powered using the data lines used for communication using internal parasitic power circuits. Each MAX31888 has a unique 64-bit registration number programmed into the chip at the factory. This unique 64-bit registration number serves as the node address in a multipoint 1-Wire network. In a multidrop network, optional GPIO pins can be used as address bits to identify each pin.

     The MAX30207EVSYS# evaluation (EV) system provides a single platform for evaluating the MAX30207, a ±0.1°C accurate temperature sensor. The EV system consists of two boards connected by headers, a MAX32630FTHR microcontroller board and a MAX30207_INTERFACE_EVKIT board. The EV system also includes a MAX30207_SENSOR_FLEX_EVKIT flex module that houses the MAX30207 IC. The MAX32630FTHR contains the firmware required to use PC GUI programs and power the MAX30207 interface board. The MAX30207 breakout board has preinstalled jumpers for quick evaluation of the MAX30207.
