Lynred, a global supplier of high-quality infrared detectors for the aerospace, defense and commercial markets, has announced the ATI320 series, the first advanced thermal imager with embedded image signal processing capabilities. Optional lenses and embedded image signal processing capabilities are designed to accelerate the development and manufacturing of integrated thermal imaging applications for camera manufacturers, reduce product development investment, and accelerate time to market.
ATI320 is a direct-to-use product that simplifies the calibration process in camera assembly, helping manufacturers eliminate complex steps. An important goal of the advanced design of this product is to eliminate complex integration steps to provide more convenient infrared technology for new entrants to the thermal imaging market.

Market application
The ATI320 is particularly suitable for camera manufacturers in the industrial, consumer and security sectors. For example, the compact size, lower weight and low power consumption of this thermal imaging solution make it ideal for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) applications for aerial thermal detection. ATI320 provides relevant image processing algorithms and lenses.
Product characteristics
ATI320 is the most compact (16 mm x 16 mm) QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) resolution thermal camera on the market today and comes with a rugged housing, currently available in two models: ATI320L (with lens) and ATI320S (without lens). ATI320 is a shutterless product that provides continuous image viewing, an important feature valued by applications in the leisure, fire and security surveillance markets. The ATI320 offers greater flexibility in camera design than comparable solutions, allowing manufacturers to choose and optimize where the ATI320 is installed in the camera.
