Low voltage difference (LDO) regulators with high tracking accuracy and excellent load and transient line response

Texas Instruments TPS7B4255 Low Voltage Difference (LDO) regulators feature high tracking accuracy and excellent load and transient line response. The LDO voltage regulator is characterized by reverse polarity, short circuit of power supply and grounded output, and current limitation. Other protective features include a thermal shut-off function that protects the device from the risk of cable failure in the off-board power system.

The TPS7B4255 LDO voltage regulator operates in the input voltage range of 3V to 40V, with a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The regulator is designed to withstand 45V (absolute maximum) input voltage during extreme transient events. The TPS7B4255 LDO voltage regulator comes in a 5-pin SOT-23 DBV package. The regulator is ideal for use in condition monitoring sensors, motion detectors (PIR and µWave), wireline control, telemetry and RTU, and robotic sensing modules.
