This product has been carefully designed and tested to meet the overcurrent circuit protection needs of the electric mobility market, particularly in the electric vehicle (EV) application sector.

"As the e-mobility market transitions from 500 Vdc to 800 Vdc battery pack voltage, there is a clear need for more robust security protection solutions," said Juergen Scheele, Vice President of xEV/AEB Business Development at Littelfuse. The EV1K series fuses are designed to withstand harsh automotive applications and provide 1000 Vdc rated automotive grade solutions with 60 A to 125 A amperage values. The company is also developing fuses with A maximum value of 600 A amperage."
