Lin Engineering's new brushless direct current (BLDC) motor design is designed to achieve high efficiency, smooth motion and high torque output for applications requiring precise speed and position control. They are available in a variety of NEMA framework specifications, including NEMA 17, 23, and 34.

     Lin Engineering Brushless DC (BLDC) motors are newly designed for high efficiency, smooth motion and high torque output for applications requiring precise speed and position control. They are available in a variety of NEMA frame sizes, including NEMA 17, 23 and 34. Efficiency means higher torque and higher speed output, as well as minimal power consumption, which results in lower operating costs and less heat generation. Less heat combined with a brushless design results in maintenance-free long-term reliability.

     Lin Engineering BLDC motors feature special windings to reduce resonance and vibration, ensuring quiet and smooth operation of desktop machines and other equipment in the work environment. BLDC motors provide high torque output over a wide speed range, making them suitable for a variety of off-the-shelf applications. These motors also have excellent speed stability due to their wide torque range.

     BLDC can be used in many applications where precise speed control is required. These motors are also used in manufacturing to help speed up the manufacturing process, or to fully automate manufacturing. For continuous production, BLDC motors are commonly used in conveyor and belt feeder applications. For laboratories, these motors are used in test machines such as centrifuges and orbital shakers. For AGVs and mobile applications, BLDCs can be used as wheel drives. When equipped with an encoder, position feedback can be used for near-servo positioning capability at a significantly reduced cost. On packaging machines, position control provides precise indexing of the web. BLDC provides excellent accuracy and speed in indexing and pick-and-place applications
