Keysight Technologies Introduces High-Performance Vector Signal Generators for Wideband Multichannel Millimeter-Wave Applications

     Keysight Technologies has introduced a new four-channel vector signal generator that operates at frequencies up to 54 GHz with up to 5 GHz radio frequency (RF) bandwidth and exceptional spectral purity. Keysight Technologies provides advanced design and verification solutions designed to accelerate innovation and create a secure, connected world.

     The new Keysight M9484C VXG microwave signal generator further expands the Keysight VXG family with real-time capabilities to meet the demanding requirements of wireless industry applications. When used with the V3080A Vector Signal Generator Frequency Extender, the M9484C VXG Signal Generator extends the frequency range up to 110 GHz to meet the stringent demands of ever-changing standards.

     New 5G mobile communications, 6G research, satellite communications and radar applications cover a wide range of frequencies, even millimeter wave (mmWave) spectrum. To test these applications, signal generation equipment needs to be able to generate mmWave signals at very high bandwidths (up to 2 GHz). These new applications also employ multi-antenna techniques such as spatial diversity, spatial multiplexing and beamforming, resulting in superior diversity, multiplexing and antenna gain performance for high throughput and robust communications.
