
Yageo's global leading supplier of electronic components, KEMET, now announces the launch of its new C4AK high temperature high power DC bus thin film capacitor, which is designed for continuous operation at 135 ° C for up to 1,000 hours. The C4AK series combines the advantages of the C4AU (harsh environment) and C4AQ-P (125 ° C) series high-power DC bus film capacitors. The series has higher capacitance density, DC voltage and resistance to DC ripple current, and provides longer service life in harsh high-temperature environments. Ideal for automotive, green and industrial applications, this metallized film capacitor is ideal for implementing DC filtering and DC busbars in solar, fuel cells, inverters, energy storage systems, automotive (bi-directional) on-board chargers, wireless power transmission (WPT), DC/DC, heaters and welding equipment.
The growing demand for electric vehicles and base stations, as well as technological advances in charging stations powered by renewable energy, require electronic components to be miniaturized and lightweight, with high dielectric capacitance and high heat resistance, to meet the requirements for extended operating ranges.
