Infineon's new smart home dedicated BLE and 802.15.4 low-power SoC multi-protocol solutions

     Infineon Technologies AG announces the launch of the new AIROC™ BLE and 802.15.4 product families to help enterprises quickly bring high-performance, low-power Matter products to market. Infineon AIROC CYW30739 BLE and 802.15.4 system-on-chip (SoC) reliable, secure and scalable low-power device connectivity solution for the smart home. The powerful combination of BLE and 802.15.4 protocols complement each other, bringing smart home product performance improvements through seamless interoperability, while also supporting end-to-end encrypted communication between devices in the Matter network.

     Infineon's AIROC CYW30739BLE and 802.15.4 SoCs feature low-power wireless connectivity. As a key component of a low-power multi-protocol system, the radio's connection performance is very stable. What's more, it provides excellent RF performance for a strong connection and the best user experience with no interruptions in the connection. Low power consumption can support applications that require higher battery life, such as smart homes, smart buildings, and smart lighting. These design processes and process technologies are highly efficient and can effectively reduce the operating and standby power consumption of the device.

     With receive sensitivity of -95.5dBm LE Rx and -103.5dBm 802.15.4, the AIROC CYW30739 enables reliable long-range Bluetooth and multi-protocol connectivity. This intelligent coexistence enables seamless interaction between a large number of connected devices, ultimately providing a better user experience for the smart home. The 96 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M4 integrated microcontroller unit with floating point unit provides high performance computing and a highly optimized memory system across flash, RAM and ROM.
