Infineon and Deeyook join forces for precise positioning solution using low-power Wi-Fi chips

     Infineon Technologies AG and Deeyook have announced a joint positioning solution. Deeyook, primarily a location-as-a-service (LaaS) business, has developed and patented an award-winning location tracking solution for determining the location of items, devices and people indoors and outdoors. The two companies have worked together to integrate Deeyook's innovative ultra-precise algorithms into Infineon's leading low-power AIROC™ Wi-Fi® portfolio, resulting in an accurate, passive, efficient and pervasive Sexual positioning solutions.

     Deeyook redefines indoor/outdoor positioning technology through innovations in wireless signal processing, enabling it to support firmware versions of existing Wi-Fi/4G/5G modems. The firmware measures the angle of transmission of radio waves (direction finding, or DF for short), a first for commercial wireless location tracking. Deeyook's positioning capabilities are very accurate, using 1.7 billion wireless access points around the world for positioning, with an accuracy of 10 cm / 4 inches.
