Harwin introduces a compact, high-pin number 0.8mm pitch sandwich connector

     Harwin continues to expand its portfolio for the industrial market and now announces the Archer.8 series, a two-row 0.8mm pitch board-to-board connector series with a stack height of 5 mm for applications where space is very limited and cost performance is important. These include applications such as factory automation and environmental monitoring devices, smart meters, retail devices, server/data center hardware, and battery management systems for electric vehicles.

     The Archer.8 connector has all the attributes required for modern industrial equipment. Each phosphor bronze contact can carry up to 0.5A of current, and these connectors are available in 30, 40, 60, 80, 100 and 120 pin count versions to meet a wide range of design requirements. Its polarized design helps with mounting orientation and alignment and prevents misfitting, while the housing with a guard protects the contacts from accidental damage. To facilitate the automated assembly process, the connectors are available in a roll pack with a positioning lock pin.
